First of all, we would like to congratulate the people of Trang Province. Koh Kradan has been awarded the most beautiful beach in the world by the World Beach Guide website.

Koh Kradan is one of the seven islands under the supervision of Hat Chao Mai National Park, along with Koh Mook. It has wide beaches with fine, soft, and beautiful sand. The sea is so clear that you can see the bottom. Koh Kradan is surrounded by coral reefs, and you can go kayaking just 5 minutes away to snorkel and see the reefs and fish. Don’t forget to come back and walk along the sandy beach, explore the beachside forest, cross to the other side of the island, and witness the beautiful sunset.

Due to its distance from the mainland, Koh Kradan has clear turquoise waters and almost encircles the island, making it suitable for water activities. It has been selected as a venue for beach weddings in Trang Province. Koh Kradan is located on the western side of Koh Mook and Koh Libong, taking about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Pak Meng or approximately 50 minutes from Kuan Tung Ku Pier (also known as Koh Mook Pier).

Koh Kradan has four beaches. The beaches have fine white sand and clear water, allowing you to see the sand ripples beneath the water’s surface. The northernmost beach has a long coral reef extending into the sea. The coastline features brackish water mangroves. The beaches on the island are as follows:

1. Koh Kradan Beach is located on the east side of the island. It has a long white sandy beach that stretches approximately 2 kilometers. The front area of the beach is popular among tourists for snorkeling to see coral reefs, which extend along the beach. From the beach, you can see nearby islands such as Koh Libong, Koh Lao Liang, Koh Mook, and Koh Chueak. This beach is the location of the third ranger station of Hat Chao Mai National Park.
2. Niang Bay Beach is located south of the third ranger station of Hat Chao Mai National Park. It is a long white sandy beach that spans approximately 800 meters. In the front area of the beach, tourists enjoy snorkeling to see coral reefs, which are visible along the beach. From this beach, you can also see Koh Libong.
3. Phai Bay Beach is located north of the third ranger station of Hat Chao Mai National Park. It is a small white sandy beach that stretches approximately 200 meters. The front area of the beach does not have a coral reef, but you can clearly see Koh Chueak, Koh Lao Liang, and Koh Mook.
4. Ao Chong Lom Beach is located on the west side of the island, above the third ranger station of Hat Chao Mai National Park. It is about 800 meters away. You can hike up the hill from this beach to watch the sunset and have a clear view of Koh Rok.
