Where is the Emerald Pool in Krabi and how do I get there?
The Emerald Pool is a natural mineral pool amidst a lush forest in the southern part of Krabi. You have three ways of getting there from Krabi Town. You can join a tour, take public transportation, or rent a vehicle to make the journey on your own. Travel time from Krabi Town will take approximately an hour, and when you get to the dropoff, you’ll have to choose between a short dirt road or a longer scenic trail to reach the actual pool.
When is it open?
The Emerald Pool is open from Mondays to Fridays beginning at 8:30am until 4:30pm. On Saturdays, the pool is accessible from 8am to 5pm, and on Sundays, from 9am to 5pm.
The pool is generally open to the public all year-round, except during holidays and certain seasons when wildlife native to the area are entering the breeding season.
What can I do at the Emerald Pool?
