Koh Samaesan is a tropical island are just a short distance away from Pattaya going into Sattahip. The island is in control of the Royal Thai Navy so you would need permission to from the Navy to go on the island. It has preserved by the Royal Thai Navy and it is home for sea turtles to hatch eggs, abundant of wild rare plants and flowers, and the safe home for delicate corals. This island serves as a classroom in the middle of the sea where tourists and students can learn what it means to upkeep the unspoiled nature. Visitors will be able to relax and view the delicate coral reefs by boarding on a Navy ship with a glass bottom or go diving in the pristine crystal blue/green water.
