Program B: James Bond Island + Mangrove Kayaking + Floating Fisherman Village + Lunch + Elephant Sanctuary + ATV rideEnjoy this multi-activity variety tour where you get a little taste of everything great about Thailand and the bay of the Phang Nga Region. Begin by seeing the famous James Bond Movie Island, and then Kayak through a wet mangrove forest. When you’re done kayaking you’ll see the famous floating village of Panyee. End the tour with a short trip to the Elephant Sanctuary to feed and bathe the baby elephants and a thirty minute ATV ride around the tropical landscape. Vehicle: Longtail boatThe longtail Boat is our cheapest option, so if you want to save money on the tour we recommend taking it. | 09:30 | James Bond Island. Visit the island where James Bond “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed. This famous villains layer is actually a truly breathtaking location showcasing golden beaches and sharp rock formations, great for pictures, and it’s hard not to feel like a secret agent as you stroll through the remote and exotic scenery. Make sure to admire the spectacular Khao Phing Kan, an enormous wedge-shaped rock erupting out of the sea near the island. |
| 10.30 | Kayak alone through the sea rivers and the mangrove forest. Observe the wild plants and animals forming the complex ecosystem of the forest around you. Don't be afraid to stop you kayak and take some pictures. Just try not to drop your paddles, because some of the sights are so stunning that you may lose you grip! |
| 11.30 | Visit the famous Fisherman Village (Koh Panyee), a community built on the side of a tiny island and made of floating rafts and barges. The fishing boats docked all around the island serve as its main source of income to fund their markets, public buildings, and even a floating football court! We’ll serve you lunch here and you can walk around town to see what life is like for a village that floats on the ocean. |
| 12:30 | Enjoy lunch at a local Thai Restaurant and visit a nearby fruit market to try some fresh local produce. |
| 13.30 | Elephant Sanctuary & ATV Ride: At the elephant sanctuary you will get up close and personal with these majestic creatures. Bond with one of these enormous creatures! During the elephant show be amazed at what the elephants have been trained to do, impressive for a human to do, let alone a 1000 Kg land mammal! After the show take a dirt grinding ATV through one of Thailand’s most remote trails. |
